Inguinal hernia repair - series—Indications



Hernia repair may be recommended for:

  • Large bulges through a small hole (increased risk of incarceration and strangulation).
  • Painful hernia. Inguinal hernia repair is indicated when the bulge through the inguinal canal is large or painful.
